Can Norbelys import contacts from a CSV?

Yes. Norbelys maps CSV columns before import, deduplicates records by email and preserves mapped custom fields. Verification then runs in the background, so large imports do not need to wait for every address check before entering the workspace.

How do groups differ from segments?

Groups are fixed collections whose membership changes when a user adds or removes people. Segments are saved filters that match people dynamically from contact attributes and engagement events. A campaign can use either model depending on whether membership should remain fixed.

Yes. Segment rules can use campaign activity such as human opens, clicks and replies alongside person fields. This allows a team to build audiences from actual engagement without exporting analytics, modifying a spreadsheet and importing the results again.

How does email verification affect an import?

Norbelys grades available evidence for each imported address and records safe, risky, invalid or unknown outcomes with reasons. Invalid outcomes can be suppressed automatically. Norbelys does not claim that a blocked mailbox probe proves every inbox exists.

What causes a person to be suppressed?

Unsubscribes, hard bounces, invalid verification outcomes and manual person or domain exclusions can suppress a recipient. The suppression is not only an import-time filter; Norbelys checks it again when the campaign prepares each message for sending.

Can a segment stay synchronized with a campaign?

Yes. A campaign can take a segment snapshot or keep enrollment synchronized as new people match the saved rules. The appropriate choice depends on whether the campaign needs a fixed reviewable audience or a continuously updating operational audience.

Can custom contact fields be imported?

Yes. Custom fields already defined in the workspace can be mapped during CSV import and remain attached to each person. Those fields can then support filtering, segmentation and personalization without forcing the team into a fixed contact schema.

Can I add people directly to a campaign?

Yes. Campaign enrollment can start from all active people, a selected group, a saved segment or a newly uploaded CSV. Every route uses the same person records and suppression logic, so audience selection does not create a disconnected contact database.
